Pregame Vibes: Lets Get This Win
Shadow Creek proved once again why they’re one of the most athletic programs in the district, dismantling Alvin 55–0 under the lights at Freedom Field. Junior quarterback Travis Coleman led the way with a confident, controlled performance that kept the Sharks’ offense rolling from start to finish.
Defensively, senior linebacker Giovanni Baker, senior defensive end Nathan Harris, junior strong safety Cameron Herbert, and junior free safety Aaron Alexander were everywhere. Alvin never found a rhythm, and by halftime, the tone was set — the Sharks owned every inch of the field.

But while athleticism has carried Shadow Creek in games like this, the bigger challenge remains ahead. As the competition stiffens later in the season, the Sharks will need to balance their offensive attack and fine-tune execution in all three phases. Athleticism opens doors — but football, in the end, demands discipline, strategy, and fundamentals.
They know how to win the games they’re supposed to,” one fan said, “but the real test comes when it’s time to take the one you’re not.
