This year marks a historic milestone for the school as it graduates its first senior class. The team has made a seamless transition from 4A to 5A, proving they can compete at the highest level. Senior strong safety and cornerback Chandler Love (#2) is the heart of the defense, averaging over 10 tackles per game and inspiring the team with his leadership.

Strength in the Trenches

Iowa Colony’s experienced offensive and defensive lines have been a cornerstone of their success. With a balanced attack on offense and a defense that’s been nothing short of stingy, the Pioneers are prepared for the challenges ahead. Their ability to dominate in the trenches will be crucial as they face tougher opponents.

Up Next: Fort Bend Marshall

The next challenge for Iowa Colony is a matchup against the formidable Fort Bend Marshall Buffaloes. The game will take place at NRG Stadium on Friday, November 29, 2024. Both teams have their sights set on advancing to the next round in pursuit of the State Title, making this a can’t-miss clash.

As the only remaining team from Alvin ISD in the playoffs, Iowa Colony carries the hopes of their community. With their skill, determination, and unwavering team spirit, the Pioneers are ready to leave it all on the field.
